About Me

Nakisa is an artist, architectural designer and dancer based in Seattle, Washington. She grew up in Iran and moved to USA to pursue her Master's of Architecture and Master's of Sustainable Environment in 2016. She spent most of her childhood hiking and backpacking with her family in the northern mountains of Iran. Where you can see how Nakisa's artwork is heavily influenced by her connection with nature, her cultural roots, and the simplicity found within it all. She is constantly evolving through different mediums of design and creation. As a designer, she is persistently looking for bottom up solutions to be able to tell a story and create sustainable and resilient designs for communities. While as an artist, her work is driven by a commitment to spark conversations that inspire positive change, utilizing forms and movements as expressive tools to convey impactful narratives. See more...
