Sacred Center is an illustration of Forough Farokhzad’s poems as she is considered one of the first rebellion women against discriminations in social, governmental and cultural structural within the society. She was a poet of great audacity and extraordinary talent. Her poetry was the poetry of protest- protest through revelation- revelation of the innermost world of women (considered taboo until then), their intimate secrets and desires, their sorrows, longings, aspirations and at times even their articulation through silence.
This series include an image of Islamic architecture as the sacred space with sacred geometry and central emphasize, while in the foreground there is a woman authentic and free in her body moving as she is going though the state of fighting and unfolding from society expectations.
